3LPE is a three-layer anti-corrosion coating consisting of fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) as the bottom layer (2PE has no FBE layer), ethylene-vinyl copolymer adhesive (AD) as the intermediate layer, and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) as the outer layer. 3LPE perfectly combines the high adhesion, oxidation resistance, and chemical corrosion resistance of FBE with the moisture resistance, aging resistance, insulation, and mechanical damage resistance of HDPE. 3LPE offers strong adhesion to the steel pipe surface, excellent insulation, resistance to mechanical damage and cathodic disbondment, and a long service life. According to the operating temperature of different application environments, 3LPE anti-corrosion coatings can be classified into standard-temperature and high-temperature types.

Applications: Buried and underwater pipelines for transporting gas, water, oil, and other fluids.
